Kate Webber is an experienced risk and governance professional, with nearly twenty years’ experience in legal, risk and general management roles across some of Australia’s largest banking and professional services firms. Kate holds an MBA (MGSM), bachelor’s degrees in Law and Arts (History), is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an accredited company secretary.
Kate’s experience includes leadership roles across major regulatory change programs, management of teams across risk, productivity and operations, as well as experience building and implementing risk and governance frameworks in complex organisations. Kate is passionate about driving positive change and brings this passion to LCEF in support of the Foundation’s Little Sisters, working to empower these vulnerable young people to make positive changes in their lives.
Kate’s involvement with Life Changing Experiences Foundation includes experience as a Big Sister in 2008, consulting on strategy and governance matters, and fundraising and events management including leading the first ever SASSI team. In 2014, Kate was named the NSW Corporate Volunteer of the Year for her work with the Foundation. Previous Board and Volunteer roles include the Child Abuse Prevention Service, Look Good… Feel Better and the NSW Historic Houses Trust.
